Maitreyi Ramakrishnan

In 2019, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan was one of 15,000 candidates in an open casting call for Mindy Kaling’s new show, “Never Have I Ever.” Despite having never acted professionally, Ramakrishnan won the role–and has since won the hearts of millions as Devi Vishwakumar, the series’ main character. The show wrapped this summer, and Ramakrishnan is tackling her next big role: college student.
