Author Rev Dele Guides Us Through the Eye of Climate and Societal Storms

Rev Dele amazes the world with her ability to merge earth-based spirituality and ecological sciences to foster resilience and justice.

In an era where the climatic and societal storms are growing more intense, visionaries like Rev Dele stand as beacons of hope and resilience. She joins a growing  brigade of female leaders who work passionately to create a positive change in their chosen niches and sectors. Rev Dele attributes this phenomenon to the fact that “women have an intimate relationship with the birth process and society is going through an intense rebirthing at this moment in time.”  Dele, a celebrated environmentalist and spiritual leader, is birthing a niche that reconnects us with the land and with each other, steering us toward a collective more sustainable dimension of living with Earth.

Rev Dele has risen to the top as a visionary speaker, consultant, and environmental advocate. Her excellence can be known by her ability to seamlessly blend spirituality and ecological sciences while addressing the pressing challenges of climate change. She is driven by the mission of strengthening humanity’s oneness with nature, emphasizing the need to listen to Mother Nature’s voice in environmental narratives. Her teachings and leadership have inspired communities to shift from a fight-or-flight mentality to one of rebuilding, balance, and joy.

A versatile personality, Rev Dele has also authored several best selling books that integrate her spiritual, social justice and ecological teachings. Her latest children’s book, “Daughter of the Tree: Walking in the Woods with Sojourner Truth,” explores Sojourner Truth’s spiritual formation in nature as a foundation for her abolition and women’s suffrage work later in life. It invites all youth to take charge of their spiritual journeys and fulfill their life destinies.

Her other book, “Breath of Life: Growing Closer to God and Growing a Secure Community by Loving Creation, is a five-week Bible study, helping readers deepen their connection with God and their community through a love for creation. This love includes a recognition of the Divine Feminine within a Christian context. Through each of her books, this incredible author extends her teachings beyond the stage to reach a broader audience eager to engage with her message of earth-based spirituality and practical solutions for abundant living.

This renaissance woman with a passion believes that Mother Nature’s voice is crucial in shaping our environmental responses. As a keynote speaker, Rev Dele encourages people to “Seat Mother Nature at the Table!” Her approach brings humor and wisdom to the conversation, which showcases how the land can unite the human family across social divisions. Integrating scientific knowledge and earth-based spirituality, she offers people practical and holistic solutions for climate resilience and social justice.

Dele’s Eco-Womanist theology is celebrated within Hood Seminary’s ICFSH Center and Baylor University. She is leading a dialogue between climate scientists and theologians in the American Association for the Advancement of Science-DoSer Climate Science and Theological Education project. Her groundbreaking initiative Soil & Souls is slowly spreading rematriation efforts along the Eastern Seaboard like wildflowers blooming in open fields. Soil & Souls is driven to nurture 300 leaders from communities most needing climate resilience, with resilience hubs already forming in Albany, NY, and Dallas, TX. Each initiative is pioneering a new way to view land sovereignty and community connectedness, especially for women.

A Visionary Leader in Environmental Stewardship

Rev Dele’s journey is rooted in her Indigenous ancestral lineages with the profound understanding that the health of our planet and the health of our communities are deeply interwoven. As a grandmother elder she has devoted her life to rematriation, a transformative principle that revives the ancient, woman-led wisdom of stewarding Earth. Rematriation seeks to reconnect people with their land, heritage, and each other, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility towards the natural world. “Rematriation is more than just a return to the land-its a return to ourselves and our collective identity” says Dele whose leadership has inspired thousands to reclaim their connection to Mother Earth and each other.

Besides all this, Rev Dele showcases her genius by co-convening the Indigenous Mothers Community Land Trust, an inter-tribal federation focused on rematriation and Indigenous sovereignty. The organization is committed to reclaiming ancestral ways of living, and teaching others to reclaim Nature as a healer and a teacher. Her trust offers conservation care and cultural protection to the land while fostering cultural collaboration among its members. They are driven by the goal to secure sovereign land in the Hudson Valley region for their work, promoting indigenous wisdom and practices.

She is also a mentor who passionately supports spiritual leaders and earthkeepers who struggle with burnout and rage. She offers coaching and spiritual retreats to help individuals transform their anger into a valuable stream of passion. She strengthens their character and capacity by aligning her mentees with natural rhythms and cycles to remain calm amidst the chaos. This support allows them to lead their communities with grace and purpose.

Rev Dele paves the way for a newer dimension of living with Earth, where joy, happiness, abundance, and balance can thrive.
